AITA for going against my husband after he kept controlling what my daughter wears and who she’s allowed to see?

Was I wrong for going against my husband and letting my daughter dress comfortably and spend time with her friends, or was I right to step in once his rules started isolating her and affecting her emotionally? And if you were in my position, would you keep trying to work this out calmly inside the marriage, or would you see this as a much bigger red flag now that the controlling behavior seems to be getting worse?
